Science Fair – Empowering Students with Nutritional Knowledge – Successful National Science Day 2025 Celebration

“Successful National Science Day 2025 Celebration at ZPH School, Ameenpur – Empowering Students with Nutritional Knowledge”

Every year on February 28th, India celebrates National Science Day to honour the remarkable discovery of the Raman Effect by Sir C.V. Raman in 1928. This groundbreaking contribution earned him the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1930, making him the first Indian to receive this prestigious award in science.

National Science Day serves as a tribute to scientific innovation, research and curiosity, inspiring young minds to explore the wonders of science. Schools, colleges and research institutions across India organize seminars, exhibitions and competitions to emphasize the role of science in everyday life.

Sir C.V. Raman’s discovery revolutionized the field of optics and spectroscopy, paving the way for advancements in various scientific disciplines. His passion for knowledge continues to inspire generations to pursue scientific endeavours and contribute to national progress.

On this day, let us celebrate the spirit of scientific inquiry and encourage the pursuit of knowledge for a better and brighter future!

On the occasion of National Science Day 2025, HEMS BHARAT (Healthy Eat Makes Strong Bharat) successfully conducted an insightful and educational event at ZPH School, Ameenpur, Hyderabad. This year’s theme focused on “The Importance of Nutrients for Human Body Growth and Development”, covering essential topics such as nutrient functions, deficiencies and their natural food sources.

On the auspicious occasion of National Science Day 2025, our NGO had the privilege of organizing and participating in a memorable event at ZPH School, Ameenpur, Hyderabad. The focus of this year’s celebration was to impart crucial knowledge about the importance of nutrients for human body growth and development. It was a day filled with learning, engagement, and appreciation for scientific knowledge.

Educating Students on Nutrient Importance and Functions

The heart of our activities revolved around educating students on the essential nutrients required for optimal human health. Through interactive sessions and demonstrations, students learned about the vital functions of various nutrients, including proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, and minerals. They gained insights into how these nutrients support growth, energy production, immune function, and overall well-being.

Understanding Nutrient Deficiencies and Natural Sources

A key highlight of the event was discussing the consequences of nutrient deficiencies. Students were sensitized to the impact of inadequate nutrition on health and development. They learned to recognize symptoms of deficiencies such as fatigue, weakened immunity, and stunted growth. Importantly, we emphasized the importance of consuming diverse, nutrient-rich foods to prevent deficiencies.

Honoring Participants and Achievements

The Science Day celebrations also served as a platform to recognize and honor exceptional achievements. Appreciation certificates were awarded to students who actively participated and demonstrated outstanding enthusiasm and knowledge retention throughout the training sessions conducted by our NGO. Their dedication and eagerness to learn were commendable and truly inspiring.

Guests and Dignitaries’ Engagement

The event was graced by esteemed guests and dignitaries, including local officials and community leaders, who appreciated the efforts taken to educate young minds on nutrition and health. Their presence added significance to the occasion and encouraged students to continue their pursuit of scientific knowledge.

The National Science Day celebrations at ZPH School, Ameenpur, Hyderabad, were a resounding success. Through our focused efforts on nutrient education, we aimed to empower students with essential knowledge that will guide them towards a healthier and more informed future. We are grateful for the support of all participants, guests, and the school administration in making this event impactful and memorable.

As we look forward, our NGO remains committed to promoting scientific literacy and fostering a community where every individual has access to vital health information. Together, we can build a healthier, more knowledgeable society for generations to come.
